Established on June 5 2023, Beyond Zero Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. (BEYOND ZERO) dedicated in the development of recycling technology for retired lithium-ion battery and lithium-ion battery manufacturing process by-products.
BEYOND ZERO is the first professional recycling company in Taiwan that handles integrated operations covering lithium-ion battery physical processing to hydrometallurgical technology, enabling to recycle lithium-ion battery materials to high purity nickel, cobalt and copper metal forms.
We thrive to realize the vision of urban mining, and facilitate infinite recycling of limited resources.

Chia-Ching Chang (Ph.D.)
Currently serving as Professor at Industry-Academia Innovation College, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Distinguished Professor at the Department of Greenergy, National University of Tainan. Honored as an Outstanding Alumnus of National Cheng Kung University in 2025. With over two decades of expertise in lithium-ion battery research, committed to advancing sustainability in Taiwan’s battery industry supply chain, with a focus on lithium battery recycling and refining.
